It's only been 5 days since Rita left us to join her husband and daughter up in Heaven but we feel her presence around us. I already miss hearing her yell out for her cup of coffee and bowl of oatmeal in the morning. Rita has left a long lasting impression on all of the staff members who cared for her here at Teresian House. We loved her as if she were our own. I want to take the time to thank Debbie Ron and Mark for giving us the opportunity to care for her these last few years. Rita was dead set in her ways, wouldnt take any nonsense from anyone and I loved that about her. She was a woman who knew what she wanted when she wanted it and wouldnt take no for an answer. A strong, fun-loving, stubborn at times woman, Rita would capture the attention of the entire room. We will miss her telling us stories, joking with us, telling us she wanted "A GOD DAMN CIGARETTE" lol, arguing with us that she isn't going to do something but then giving in when she realized we just wanted to give her the best care we could because she deserved it. Her memory will live on in all of us. Rita we miss you and love you to no end. May you rest in peace angel and look over us all. Debbie, Ron, and Mark our hearts and prayers and with you all. We are sending you positive vibes, prayers of healing during this time of grief, and all of our love. Your mother was one of a kind and I hope she is up in Heaven stirring up some trouble and having a grand ole time reuniting with Ronald and Gail.
