Obituary of Rita E. Guilbault

RITA E. GUILBAULT Green Island- Rita E. Guilbault, 86 of Green Island, beloved wife of the late Ronald E. Guilbault Sr. entered peacefully into eternal life on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Born in Troy, NY on January 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Slesser) Behuniak. She married Ronald in 1953 and together they spent 29 happy years together raising their family. Rita was a homemaker for many years before Ronald's passing. She then went back to Bryant and Stratton to earn her Medical Assistant Certificate. Rita then worked for the Riverfront Medical Group for over 14 years. She also worked as the Director of the Cohoes YWCA. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of the family pool. Survivors include her loving children Deborah (John Gustin) Guilbault, Ronald E. (Frances) Guilbault Jr., Mark (Edie) Guilbault and Lisa Ann Guilbault-Cicchinelli. Her adoring grandchildren Jaime Guilbault, Ashley (Bryce) Guilbault-Aiken, Kaitlyn (Jamie) Cirilli, Rachael (Kyle) Smith, Rebecca Abbott, Amanda Cicchinelli and Donald (Lindsay) Cicchinelli. Rita has 7 great-grandchildren, and was anticipating the arrival of two more. Rita was predeceased by her daughter Gail Guilbault and her sister Madeline Rootes. Funeral Services will be private under the direction of the Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham. Interment alongside her loving husband Ronald Sr. will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
