Obituary of Christopher Clemente

CHRISTOPHER CLEMENTE

CLIFTON PARK – Christopher Clemente, 64 of Clifton Park, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Niskayuna, NY, on August 10th, 1960, he was the son of the late Roger A. and Antoinette (Marchese) Clemente.

Christopher graduated from Shaker High School, class of 1980. He worked as an Administrative Clerk employed by the Colonie Police Department for many years; a job which he was extremely dedicated to. He made lasting friendships at the police department with all of those whom he worked with including the various chiefs over the years. Taking pride in his work, Christopher always was dressed for success in his suit and tie. He retired from the Police Department in 2020 after forty years of service.

Christopher was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Ambrose Church in Latham where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed bowling, trips to Hollywood, Fl with his parents, as well as spending time at the family camp in Lake George. Christopher was an avid woodworker; over the years he crafted many projects such as lamps, clocks, and cabinets as well as countless Christmas ornaments which were then given lovingly as gifts to family and friends. In more recent years Christopher enjoyed his independence while living in Clifton Park. He had a knack for cooking, specializing in his cavatelli and his sauce. Despite the health challenges he faced over the course of his life, Christopher was the most caring person. Those who knew him would often share this sentiment with his family. Christopher was always the first to ask how others were doing. His compassion and caring spirit will forever be missed and always cherished and remembered.

Christopher's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Sosa-Suarez and the staff at St. Peter's Health Partners for the dedicated care given to their brother. A special thank you also to Dr. Lansberg of Boston Children's Hospital for his compassionate care over the years which developed into a lasting friendship which Christopher deeply cherished.

Christopher is survived by his brothers Peter (Diane) Clemente and Mark (Linda) Clemente, nieces and nephews Jason (Kimberly) Clemente, Laura Clemente, Kevin (Lauren) Clemente, and Michael (Jessica) Clemente, as well as several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Roger A. Clemente Jr.
