Obituary of Robert "Bob" S. Bullock

ROBERT S. BULLOCK

WATERVLIET - Robert S. "Doc" Bullock, 69, beloved husband of Kathleen (Matthews) Bullock, passed away unexpectedly on February 6th, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born on April 20th, 1955 to the late Robert and Patricia (Whitney) Bullock.

A master plumber by trade, Bob was a skilled and hard worker, dedicated to his jobs and his co-workers. After his early retirement, he continued to be a highly appreciated personal plumber for family and friends. Bob was an extremely hard worker, but more so, he was a gentle soul. He loved animals and nature. He enjoyed camping and fishing in the Adirondacks, watching the birds and spending time outdoors. Watching the NY Giants was a favorite pastime along with spending time with friends. But above all, Bob loved spending time with his family and, most especially, spending time as "Gampy" with his two grandchildren. This brought him so much joy.

Bob has had a long fight, receiving a lung transplant in the summer of 2023. He has had many struggles, and during that time also many wins. Kathleen was the love of his life and he was the best dad ever to Karen and Katie. This loss leaves them all heartbroken. We will miss our gentle soul with all of our hearts. Despite all of the challenges Bob faced on his journey, he always managed to keep his spirits up. It is that spirit that will live on; His spirit and love of life. His spirit that inspired and brought joy to all who knew him. This is what we will remember and hold on to forever.

In addition to his parents, Bob is predeceased by his brother, David Bullock.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen, two daughters, Karen (Joseph) Pelletier and Kathryn (Aron) Bullock-Romanoff, and two grandchildren, Ryan and Tara Pelletier.

He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
