My Uncle Gordon was a role model to so many of us- he was my personal guide to life's many challenges. I am blessed to have learned from his counsel and acted on his advice. Uncle Gordon's and Aunt Aimee's guidance shaped many life changing decisions - he will always be missed and though if often.

Thank you Uncle Gordon for being such a loving uncle and always checking on me and my siblings. You always were wondering how we were doing and it meant a lot to us. You taught me so much whenever we were with each other and I’ll always remember those moments. Rest easy. Also thank you Amy for always being there for Uncle Gordon, you were such a huge help and I know my grandpa will forever appreciate it.

Gordon was a great artist. We all enjoyed seeing his drawings. This drawing of his great nephew was one of the last ones we have enjoyed. Gordon we will miss you.

I worked with Gordon at OMRDD many years ago. He was always very affable, humorous and a nice guy to be around. He was also very meticulous about taking his medication as required. His fortitude in being so conscientious about his health enabled him to have many extra years to have his family enjoy his presence. His determination carried over to his job also as a surveyor at OMRDD. I am very sorry for your loss. Mike Schongar
