Obituary of Robert E. Gilman III

ROBERT E. “BOBBY” GILMAN III

CLIFTON PARK - Robert E. “Bobby” Gilman III, 49 of Clifton Park, passed away on March 9^th, 2025 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY.

Born in Albany, Bobby graduated from Ballston Spa High School and went on to earn his associate’s degree from Hudson Valley Community College.  He worked for Paychex for over twenty years, most recently holding the position of supervisor.  He made many lasting and cherished friendships throuoghout his career.  Bobby was an avid Buffalo Bills and NY Mets fan.  He also had a fondness for anything and everything haunted houses and/or Halloween.  He was a talented cook and loved preparing meals for others.  He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his parents Robert Gilman Jr. and Sheila (Zumback) McGraw, his stepfather Thomas McGraw and his children Avery Gilman, Alyx and Taylor.  Also survived by his son Avery’s mother Linda Lee as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.  

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bobby’s family on Saturday, March 15^th, 2025 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham.
