MARILYN A. GRADONI
Loudonville - Marilyn A. Gradoni, 81 of Loudonville, beloved wife of John T. Gradoni, entered into eternal life Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Marion (Walsh) Murphy. She was a graduate of Vincentian Institute in Albany. Marilyn married the love her life John T. Gradoni on June 25, 1955 and the two have shared a blessed union of 59 years. She was a former member of Wolferts Roost and Van Schaick Country Clubs. A lifelong member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and member of the pastoral care committee. She was an avid reader and resident of Loudonville for over 53 years. Marilyn's biggest joy in life was her family that she loved so very much especially taking care of her children and grand-children.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her loving children Richard (Kimberly) Gradoni of Frederick, MD, Karen (David) McCann of Mt. Airy, MD, Sheila (Ed) Sawicki of Loudonville and Robert (Mary) Gradoni of Rotterdam. Her cherished grandchildren, Mark Gradoni, James Gradoni, Caleb Gradoni, Andrew Sawicki, Katherine Sawicki, Sean McCann and Brendan McCann. She was predeceased by her grandsons Kevin Gradoni, Ryan McCann and her infant brother Patrick Murphy
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday June 7, 2014 at 9:30 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road Loudonville with Rev. James Walsh officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday June 6, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road Latham.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
