Obituary of Beverly A. Cramer

BEVERLY A. CRAMER Loudonville- Beverly A. Cramer, 85 years old, passed away at the Loudonville Adult Home on September 12, 2017, following a long illness. Beverly was born in Plattsburgh, NY on November 8, 1931 and graduated from St. John's Academy. She received her RN from the Lenox Hill School of Nursing, and then received her bachelor's degree from Teachers College of Columbia University. She later received her master's degree from Russell Sage College. After moving to the Capital District, Beverly worked as an Associate Professor of Nursing at Hudson Valley Community College. Upon retirement, Beverly was an avid gardener and was an active member in the Rensselaer Garden Club. She also enjoyed many years of sailing on Lake George with her beloved husband Sam. She also devoted many hours as a volunteer in the outreach center at St. Mary's Church, Albany, NY. Beverly is predeceased by her devoted husband Samuel Cramer and by two brothers, John Davidson and George Davidson of Plattsburgh, NY. She is survived by her loving sisters Mary D. Humiston of Loudonville, NY and Elizabeth Bortz of Acton, MA, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday September 14, 2017 from 4-6pm at the Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home at 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Beverly's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Interment will follow in the family plot at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
