Obituary of Margaret "Peg" E. Charron

MARGARET E. CHARRON Loudonville- Margaret "Peg" E. Charron, 88 of Loudonville, beloved wife of the late Norbert A. Charron passed away peacefully on Sunday October 1, 2017 in the comfort of her home. Born on October 11, 1928 in Albany, Margaret was the daughter of the late James Edward and Margaret Alice (Richardson) Ouderkirk. She was a 1946 graduate of Vincentian Institute. Margaret was married to Norbert and cherished 46 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1998. Margaret was a Senior Account Clerk employed at SUNY Albany where she worked for 25 years before retiring in 1990. Prior to that, Margaret worked in the Accounting Department of the Albany Mobil Oil Co. from 1946-1963. She was the coordinator for the St. Pius P.E.P organization, and Catholic Daughters Past Region, where she also was the treasurer. She was a member of Colonie Elks #2192 Ladies Auxiliary, Colonie Senior Citizens, Hart Senior Citizens and bowler for the Norton Retirees League. Peg is survived by her sister Virginia Helen Ouderkirk of Colonie, her caregiver Sally Corini of Clifton Park and her dear friends Aimee (Larry) Richardson of Loudonville and Veva Bangart of Delmar. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday October 3, 2017 from 8:30 - 9:30 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Margaret's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 3 at 10:00 a.m. St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville with Fr.
