Frank was a wonderful guy. I remember the funny, casual conversations between us when I would stay late to grade projects and our worlds would overlap. Frank was full of funny stories and observations about the school we shared. I always admired the pride he took in cleaning the art department at Shaker High School while we talked. I remember him bringing in contraptions, built on his own time and at his own expense, to fix incessant problems in our decaying classroom. He was handy like that and he was meticulous when just ok would suffice. Frank cared about the rooms, he cared about the teachers that had to use the rooms, and he cared about the kids who learned in them. Nobody did it better than Frank.
Regards,
Jude Hanley

Dear Liburdi Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I used to work with Frank . He was the “ go to guy” if I needed any help while learning the ropes of the high school. He knew all there is about being a custodian. I always went to him for help! He really knew the high school best.
He was proud of his profession and of your family’s heritage. We were wing neighbors and talked often. Frank said I reminded him of your Aunt Dotty!
The high school just won’t be the same.....
Sincerely,
Lauren
