Obituary of Christina Margaret Palladino
CHRISTINA MARGARET PALLADINO
Latham - Christina M. Palladino, of Latham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Carmen (Zirpolo) Turino. Christina was married to Alphonse L. Palladino Sr. on October 30, 1959 and shared a blessed union of 58 years together.
Christina was employed as a clerk with New York Telephone in Menands for 9 years; she then worked in the auditing department for Sears in Albany for 5 years.
In addition to her beloved husband Al "Al Pal"; she is survived by her loving children Donna Palladino Schultheiss of OH and Al (Jackie) Palladino of MA as well as her 5 cherished grandchildren Matt, Josh and Andrew Schultheiss and Jillian and Danny Palladino. She is also survived by her siblings Theresa Spencer, Stephen, Larry and John Turino and Mary Howe as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Christina is predeceased by her son in law Curt Schultheiss and her siblings Pat, Blaze, Joe, Carl, Rose, Lucille, Della, Anna & Florence.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday July 10 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Christina's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 11 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham with Fr. Geoffrey Burke officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Second Wind Dreams, 10892 Crabapple Road, Suite 300, Roswell, GA 30075; www.secondwind.org.
Entombment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
