Dearl Pat and family, We have so many wonderful memories of Les and your family. From the early days when we grew up with Les in
West Albany and then standing up for you both at your wedding. Visiting back and forth at our homes while raising our children, outings for pizza, our yearly ride on Columbus day, and our trip to Niagra Falls. Earl will miss his daily visits or talks on the phone with his best friend. His happy memories of all the hunting and fishing trips and visits to Earl's camp will help him to keep Les alive in his heart. Your in our thoughts and prayers daily and here to help in any way we can. Love, Joan and Earl

Pat, Tammy, Mike (Itzy) I'm not one to follow the paper but just happen to catch Les's obituary the other day, It's amazing how time goes by, I know we've been our own ways for many years now, There is always a very special place in my heart for the friends I made at Interlaken park oh so many years ago, it saddens me deeply to hear of his passing. Les was very much a mentor and father figure to me one of those people I looked up to and is part of my personality that I carry with me every day. Just remember "it's showtime" you know Les is in the room. I have so much I’d like to say but mostly I send my love and sympathies to all the family.

Dear Pat, Mike, Tammy, Tony, Alison, Victoria, and family members
Our hearts, prayers and thoughts go out to you, we all so much admired Les for his sprit and character.
I admired his love of the outdoors. He loved to camp, fish, and hunt along with enjoying family and friends. He taught us all to be a good husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend always there if you needed help. He taught us to live our lives with character and respect, to laugh at the small things in life be honest and generous. Les’s sprit lives on in all of us. Pat somehow one candle to remember Les is just not enough. I will use one candle to light a camp fire this weekend, a very big camp fire so Les will be able to see it from heaven. May God bless you and family.
Love

Pat, Tammy and Itsy,
Please know you are, and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Les was the one of the funniest, sincere, and loyal people I know. He will be sadly missed.
Uncle Les has always been such a big part of my childhood memories. I will always remeber sitting around the campfire as Jimmy Miller told us ghost stories and Uncle Les would jump out of somewhere and scare us half to death! He would laugh for hours about how each one of us reacted. There are so many memories we will hold dear to our hearts.
Please know we are here if you need anything...we are only a phone call away!
Love to all of you,
Rob and Lori

When our tears have dried and our hearts begin to mend, we will have our memories. And what memories they will be. We will find our comfort in the manner in which Uncle Les lived, with joy, exuberance and a playfulness that will never be duplicated. My memories are too numerous to mention, so I will only tell two. The first is not really a memory but a story about how I almost wasn’t born, because of Uncle Les. The night before my parents wedding, he was out the entire night with my father, the two of them drinking all night. He called my mother on the day of her wedding and said that my father was gone and was not coming to the wedding; she was being stood-up. This wasn’t true; it was one of Uncle Les’ jokes. He was 16 at the time. The wedding almost didn’t happen, because my mother believed Uncle Les. Another memory of him is the gentle soft side that so many of us knew. When my father passed away, he gathered me in his arms and looked me in the eye and told me how lucky I was to have had such a wonderful man for a father. He told my father was “a class act”. I knew that was Uncle Les’ highest form of a compliment. My life and every life that was touched by his are better because of him. I choose to remember the manner in which he lived.

We can hear Les's laughter when he pulled a prank or two. How he loved a good prank. Les called our house in a torrential downpour on April 1st . He stated he wasa rep. from Niagara Mohawk and required the "number" from our closest telephone poll. Ron was so irrate I thought he was going to have a stroke telling Ni-Mo who could go out in the rain and read their own pole! How much they make an hour. Les got him good!We will surely miss this humor and his everlasting smile!

Dear Pat,
One of my favorite memories of Les was at my Dad's surprise birthday party this past December. I had just finished using the unisex bathroom there and was washing my hands when Les walked in the bathroom. It was funny to see Les speechless - - he was so embarrassed to think he walked in on me, even though I was only washing my hands. He said to me, "Sheri, I am so embarassed!" I laughed and quickly said, "Not as embarassed as I would have been if you had walked in a minute earlier!" We both had a good laugh and a big hug! I will always remember having a good laugh with him. We will miss him! Our thoughts are with you.
