Laurie and Ed- Much love and support sent across the miles to you my friends. We are so sorry for your loss and wish we could be there with you.
Laurie- You were the best most loving daughter a mother could have. You did everything humanely possible to make your mom happy and to keep her communication with Michael ongoing while ensuring she got out of the house and later the nursing home at least one time a week for a nice lunch or dinner. You did her laundry, grocery shopped, ironed her clothes, and a million other things. All done in your quiet manner not looking for any recognition. You did it because she was your mom and it was the right thing to do and because you wanted to do it. You really stepped up when she needed it most. I am proud you are my good friend. I know I am not nearby but I am only a phone call away and I hope you will take me up on my offer to a nice weekend getaway and come for a visit. You deserve a little relaxation.
