LOUISE V. CRISCIONE
Latham – Louise V. Criscione 100 of Latham, beloved wife of the late George M. Criscione Sr., passed away peacefully on Sunday March 17, 2019 with her beloved family at her side.
Born on March 4, 1919 in Rutland Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa D'Aniello Valenty. She married George on January 16, 1948 in Bennington, VT and the two shared a blessed and cherished union of 49 years of marriage before his passing on June 28, 1997.
Louise was a Dental Assistant for 5 years at the Watervliet Arsenal in Watervliet. She was in the 27th Division Auxiliary where she served twice as National President, was PTA President for Latham School and was also a communicant of St. Ambrose Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and Young at Heart.
She is survived by her loving children; Mary Therese (Tim) Lester, George (Teri) Criscione Jr., Louann Cronk and Manny (Judy) Criscione, sisters Esther Coleman and Emily (Joe) Presbyto as well as her cherished grandchildren Adam (Robin), Erin (Nina), Tera (Nick), Phil (Nicole), Colin (Natalie), Nicole (Len) and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her special friends from Hearthstone Village Patty, Todd and Marty.
She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Peggy Criscione, brothers Benjamin, Anthony and Armand and sisters Agnes and Elizabeth.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday March 22, 2019 from 4-7 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Louise's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Interment will take place next to her beloved husband George and daughter Peggy in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
