MaryEllen...we are all so saddened to hear of 'Billy's' passing. Lila was heartbroken when learning he had left us, and tears came to her eyes as she struggled to tell us that "his father was your father's best friend".
Our generation grew up together...I recall having lunches in your mom's kitchen while attending 'school 3'; and through the social interaction of our parents, we got to know you and your brother fairly well.
You are in our thoughts as your brother has earned his place at God's hand...may he forever rest in peace. We are hopeful that you and Bill will soon find peace as well.

I would like to express condolences in the loss of your dear loved one. Also share some hope from the bible that says we will be able to see them again in the coming resurrection according to these scriptures [John 5:28-29] and [Acts chapter 24;15]. We find further hope in [Isaiah 25:8] and [Revelations 21:3-5] which says in part that Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, because God will swallow up death forever. I hope these scriptures will be of some comfort

Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. I don't know where to begin.....so many memories of the good times spent on Western Ave....I am eternally grateful to Bill and Joy for the kindness they showed us when my Bill was sick. Joy made sure I had a meal waiting for me every night upon my return from the hospital and Bill helped provide transportation for radiation treatments. I'm sorry to hear about Billy. I will always picture him as he was when he lived with Joy on Western Avenue and Bryan and Scott were getting into mischief with Mike and Sarah Costigan (my nephew and niece). Those were the good old days for sure. Bill was always a nice guy with a ready smile and a penchant for fun. My condolences to Joy, Bryan, Scott and Mary Ellen.
