Denise was my boss at Albany Memorial Hospital nearly 30 years ago.
I was a Certified Diabetes Educator for the Diabetes Treatment Center Of America when it opened. We traveled together to Nashville Tennessee for training. She was always, kind, quiet and a steady, capable leader at Memorial. Our paths crossed again years later when I was teaching Nursing at a Maria College and Diane was at St. Peter’s Hospital and it was wonderful to reconnect.
I had not seen her in years and just learned about her passing and send my sincere condolences.
She will be remembered as a kind, competent, gentle nurse leader and friend.
