As a childhood friend, who I really connected to when we realized that both out Dad's were child friend friends in the 1930's, we spent many years until my move and retirement of my parents to Florida, and then to continue on to Florida to do my undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida in the early 1983. But, like most things we grew apart, tried to keep up over the years but he time moved on.
We attended the same community college with a close knit group of buddies out of the Woodlawn areas, and it broke my heart to find out this October in 2021.
Life has a habit of creating distances of the old to move on the family, professional growth and a whole new set of close friends and goals. In my heart, Walt will always be a an important part of my child life. He helped me know indecision, and my self-worth. He will always be with me as well as our small but cohesive group of friends. You never know out future, and in a selfish way you always think they will always be there always, but it did not.
Love you bro. See you when it's time to grab those underage beers we used to drink when I was 16, as I got a way with it with a full mustache. Until then, Always was my best friend and I will miss you more than anyone can imagine. We will make up (in time) those lost years. Love ya bro.

Many fond memories with Walter. I worked with him for several years at Saint Mary’s Hospital and Troy New York and he also worked for me for nine years in my own business. He was a part of my family. Motorcycles Americain cookouts a good friend. He truly will be missed.

I worked with Wally at St. Mary's in the ICU. Although that great place has evolved, I think of those days often. Wally was a great, caring, knowledgeable RT, but more importantly, a great person! I learned a lot from him and at the same time we all made work fun! I truly feel his smile will be with everyone's life he touched forever. Laura, so sorry for your family's loss. I lost my husband two months ago... It's hard, very hard. Let people help.

Laura and family, so very sorry about Wallys passing. I was shocked, much too young. Worked in ICU at St Mary’s with Wally for many years. So many happy crazy times all of us on nights shared.
