AMBROSE J. GORMAN LATHAM - Ambrose J. Gorman, 85 of Latham, beloved husband of Catherine T. (Brennan) Gorman entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Binghamton, NY on December 10, 1935, he was the son of the late George J. and Norma M. (Riley) Gorman. Mr. Gorman married Catherine T. Brennan August 5, 1965 and together enjoyed over 55 years of marriage. He served during the Korean War in the United States Army and was stationed in Europe. Ambrose was a member of the Whitesboro Kiwanis Club and the Genealogy Club at the Town of Colonie Library. He enjoyed golf, gardening and his canine companions and he loved and was proud of his Irish Heritage. He was employed as a Business Administrator, by the Whitesboro Central School District for many years before his retirement. In addition to his beloved Catherine, he is also survived by his loving children Marie (Joe) Aiken, Monique (Tom) Duval, Michelle Gorman-Covarrubias, Cathleen Gorman and Michael (Amy) Gorman. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Ambrose was predeceased by his son Patrick J. Gorman and his sister Mary Kakusian. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
