Russ was just a delight to be with. Whenever I would meet up with him, we'd share a laugh, and I'd leave a little happier than when I arrived. That's the kind of person Russ was. And, he was a terrific basketball coach. How else could a crew from St Peter win the church league championship in 1965?
The last couple of years have been rough on you all. I wish you peace, and am very sorry for your loss, Sandy and family.

Russ was a good friend to my cousins, Minnig and Araxie and met them yearly at the New York State Fair where they shared memories over a cup of coffee. In later years we got re acquainted at St. Peter Armenian Church's Men's Shish Kebab and Cigar Nite. Russ was A#1 in my book. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
