Obituary of Dionne "Dee" Marie DeGonza

DIONNE "DEE" MARIE DEGONZA Dionne "Dee" Marie DeGonza, 46 of Albany, passed away on Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, NY on October 9th, 1974, she was the daughter of Roberta (Labunski) DeGonza and the late Raymond A. DeGonza. Dee had a special bond with her late father and he often referred to her as "Pooh Girl". Dee worked as a cashier, employed by CVS Pharmacy in Delmar. Dee always enjoyed family gatherings and all of the laughs and conversations that were shared. She spent most of her adult life as caregiver to her mother and late father. Survivors include mother Roberta DeGonza, brothers Raymond (Farrah) DeGonza, Anthony (Alicia) DeGonza, and David (Kelly) DeGonza, nephew Niko (Chantelle) DeGonza, and nieces Ashlynn, Emily, Gianna and Talyia. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and her fur baby Caesar Leo Dionne's family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at St. Peter's Hospital Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, April 30th, 2021 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham.
