CARLOS R. FELTT SR.
Latham-Carlos R. Feltt Sr., 86 of Latham, beloved husband of Mary White Feltt for over 63 years, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at his home with his loving family at his side.
Born and educated in Willsboro, he was the son of the late Royal S. and Maude H. (Stickney) Feltt.
He was a Maintenance Worker, employed by NYCO Minerals in Willsboro for over 27 years until retiring in 1986. He also worked for the D & H Railroad for over 11 years in the early 1950's. Carlos had a love of farming and farm animals and was employed at several area farms in Willsboro. He took great pride in being the caretaker with his sons of the Calvary, Lakeview and Memorial Cemeteries all in Willsboro. He was a Charter member of the Willsboro Knights of Columbus Council 7461.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his loving children Jane (Rodney) Reynolds of Colchester, VT, Donald (Joan) Feltt of Fulton, Maryanne Sargent of Latham, and Carlos (Beverly) Feltt Jr. of Latham, his cherished grandchildren Judy (Markus) Beaumonte, Robert (Allison) Reynolds, Richard Reynolds, Thomas (Lori) Reynolds, Anthony (Jerri-Lyn) Reynolds, Kevin LeRoy, Lisa (Stephen) Dupoise, Janelle Gilmore and Denise (Brett) Lemeke, he was the brother of Mary Sayward of Willsboro and Edward (Isabelle) Feltt of Boynton Beach, FL. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Margaret (John) Parkinson, Virginia (Roy) Sayward, Julia (Fulton) Sheehan and Nelie White, his brother-in-law, Junie Tart, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calos was predeceased by his daughter, Maureen Feltt his brother, Harold Feltt and brother, William Feltt.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday January 9, from 2-4 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Willsboro.
