Obituary of Stephen McQuade

STEPHEN MCQUADE

Cohoes-Stephen McQuade passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 30, 2021 at his home in Cohoes, he was just 54 years of age.

Born in Albany on December 16, 1966, he was the son of the late James and Kathleen (Thornton) McQuade. After High School he attended Florida Southern University to play baseball. Stephen was a diehard and long-suffering New York JETS fan and wore the Green and White with pride. He was also an avid horseracing fan and was a regular at the Saratoga race course. He enjoyed going to the track very early in the mornings to walk the grounds and take in the beautiful sites. Stephen was also a wonderful cook and loved preparing meals for others.

Survivors include his much-loved daughters Riley and Bayley McQuade, his brothers James (Teresa) and Mark McQuade, his nephew Matthew, niece Rachel, multiple cousins and his favorite Aunts Patty and Ruthie, all whom he loved.

You are our brother and our friend. We'll miss you now until our end. Say Hi to Mom and Dad as we trust in God to see you again.
