MARY ANNE E. MORRELL
LOUDONVILLE – Mary Anne E. Morrell, 77 of Loudonville, beloved wife of James K. Morrell., passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Albany Medical Center.
Born in East Islip, NY on March 31, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Elizabeth (Ackerman) Yuskus.
Mary Anne moved from East Islip to Albany in 1961 to attend and later graduate from University at Albany in 1965. That same year she and James were married on August 21.
She worked for thirty-two years for the Albany County Department for Children, Youth, and Families, most recently as Senior Social Worker where she dedicated her time and energy helping to provide a home for those without one. She will forever be remembered and loved as the matriarch of her family, the glue that held it all together. She will be deeply missed yet forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband James K. Morrell, sons David M. Morrell and Daniel J. (Nicole) Morrell, as well as sisters Barbara (late Donald) Mills and Victoria Maglia. Mary Anne is also survived by her grandsons Kyle (Alana) and Brandon, three great-grandchildren, and several cousins.
