THOMAS JOSEPH DAVIS II
COXSACKIE / HOLIDAY, FL - Thomas Joseph "Tommy" Davis II, 28 of Holiday, FL, formerly of Coxsackie, gained his wings and went home to the Lord after a sudden accident on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
Born on July 3, 1993 in Albany, he was the son of Russell M. and Barbara A. (Varade) Davis.
Tommy graduated from Coxsackie-Athens Highschool and later attended Hudson Valley Community College where he enrolled in the Disney College Program from which he proudly graduated from on July 31, 2013.
Tommy worked as a driver and chauffer for "The Limo Guy Russ", his father's livery business through Coxsackie Transport, a job he took pride in and thoroughly enjoyed. He also worked as a cook and MVO for Greene Correctional Facility, and most recently, in Florida, began his new career as a dispatcher for Pinellas County 911.
Tommy leaves behind his loving parents Russell and Barbara (Varade) Davis, dear sister Jennifer (Aaron Strom) Davis and best friend and brother Mark Misuraca Jr. Also survived by aunts and uncles Paul (Debbie) Davis, Thomas J. (Nikki) Davis, Elena (Michael) Labunski, Christopher Davis, Scott (Amanda) Davis, and Dennis (Joan) Varade, many cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as his paternal grandmother Susan Davis.
Tommy is predeceased by his paternal grandparents George and Patricia Davis, maternal grandparents Nicholas and Helen Varade and his aunt and uncle George and Patricia Davis.
Tommy was a special person who brought light into the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him and lived his own life to the fullest. He had a deep love for his family and friends, of which he had many, and could always be counted on to bring a sense of positivity, inspiration, and compassion to his encounters. He enjoyed music, sports, grilling, a good party, and of course his Harley. Tommy began his lifelong dream of a cross country motorcycle trip in September of 2021. Along his travels he made new friends, touched even more lives, and shared his adventures throughout his journey. Tommy's light and love will forever shine through in his legacy and the memories he leaves behind. As Tommy said "The road goes on forever and the party never ends".
