Obituary of Joan T. Weir

JOAN T. WEIR (ARCHAMBEAULT) WATERVLIET - Joan T. Weir, 82 of Watervliet, beloved wife of the late Abner J Weir., passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022. Born in Saratoga, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Nora (Herlad) Archambeault. Joan worked as a Housekeeper, employed by The Eddy Heritage House in Troy. Joan will be forever missed and eternally cherished by all who knew and loved her. Joan is survived by her four dear children Dawn (Alfred) Schanz, Leonard Pappas, William (Jeannine) Pappas, Joan (Carmen) Ciccarelli, and stepson James (Lynn) Weir, as well as eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandson. She is also survived by her sister Jean (Kenneth) Retell, several nieces and nephews, as well as dear family friends Shannon and Nick Ratigan and their children Haileigh Wilson and Makenzzie Kindlon. In addition to her parents Joan is predeceased by her brothers and their wives: Walter "Sonny" (Jean) Archambeault and Frank (Nancy) Archambeault.
