Obituary of Sang Ye "Kim" Daley
SANG YE "KIM" DALEY
LOUDONVILLE - Sang Ye "Kim" Daley, 81 of Loudonville, beloved wife of the late Robert J Daley, passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on March 26th, 2022.
Born in South Korea, she was the daughter of the late Mong Chi Kim and Sun Tok Han.
Kim immigrated to the United States in 1970 with her husband Robert. Kim was a hard worker throughout her life, always living true to her motivated, determined, and strong work ethic. She was an entrepreneur at heart and owned and operated several businesses during her lifetime. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed gardening, painting, ballroom dancing with her beloved Robert, and putting to use her wealth of knowledge in gathering wild greens which she would use in her cooking and homemade remedies. She often frequented the casino and loved to gamble. She will be forever missed and eternally loved by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter Misuk Seeberger, her grandson Thomas M. Seeberger who held a special place in her heart, as well as her brother-in-law Peter (Ann) Daley, nieces Erin and Elaine, and extended family Young Cho and Hwan Cho.
Calling Hours will take place on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, March 31st, 2022, 9am with Rev. Michael Crandall officiating. Interment with her beloved Robert will immediately follow the service at Saratoga National Cemetery.
