I am just hearing of the passing of Edith. I looked her up to see if she was still practicing to see if she might be available to help my son, as she helped me through many years in my adolescence. I am deeply saddened to hear of this tremendous loss. She deeply cared about others and I have thought of her fondly over the years when she's come to mind. She made an impact which is more than most can say about their lives. I hope knowing how deeply she touched others during her time on earth brings your some peace in knowing her legacy will not be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Samantha

The decades of care Edith provided to so many of her patients speaks to how much we respected and trusted her. She knew meds and brain chemistry as well as any doctor I’ve known, but there was also an art to how she approached and pieced together effective treatment for her patients. As a person, Edith had a quick wit and subtle sense of humor. I’ll miss our chats about books and parenting. At the same time, I could count on Edith to call me out when I wasn’t being honest with myself. I’ll miss that reality check. I consider myself as incredibly lucky to have had Edith as part of my life. To her family in NY, CA, MA, PA, and elsewhere: there are really no words for your loss, but I’ll keep you in my thoughts nonetheless.

I am so sad to hear of the news about Edith. She counseled me though so many hard times. Beyond that she was just a great person to talk to. I knew her for twelve years as a patient but she always felt like a friend to me. We laughed about men and complimented each others outfits. lol we both had good taste. I really loved her and will miss her terribly. I am extremely sorry for your loss and will never forget her.
Respectfully,
Caroline C.

Edith was a compassionate, kind and very competent nurse practitioner. I was her patient for more than 15 years, and she was a great support to me. I observed her meeting challenges of her own, but it did not affect her work ethic or her objectivity, or the excellence with which she practiced psychiatry. Her sense of humor was the icing on the cake. Molly, I send my most heartfelt sympathy to you. Your mom often spoke of you with great pride and love. Rest in peace, Edith. I'll miss you, and I am better because of you!

My sympathies to Edith's family. She worked with my son and was so caring and "had his number" from the minute she met him! Perhaps they've met in heaven. May she rest in eternal peace.

To the family of Edith Lundquist,
I am so sorry to read that Edith has passed. She was a great practitioner and cared so much for her patients. I knew her when I worked for Lilly USA. I enjoyed our lunches together, bantering over the products I represented, and hearing about her fabulous life. I will truly miss her. She was a beautiful person.
RIP Edith.
Sincerely,
Michelle G

My prayers and thoughts go out to Edith’s family. She was such a kind, generous soul whom I was fortunate to be cared for as a patient for nearly ten years. I am indebted to her for life for the compassionate care that she extended to me when I first met her in Sept 2012 at her office. She was instrumental in assisting with my initial recovery from panic disorder and was there for me up until our last appointment three months ago. Edith was the best nurse practitioner I could ask for. Kind, funny, and full of compassion for her patients. She always went out of her way to provide me with extra time whenever I needed it. I sincerely believe that my ministry as a priest is better because of her example. God bless and keep you, Edith.
