Mary Printsky posted a condolence

I began working as a teenager in the Housekeeping Dept. at Bellevue Woman's Hospital in 1971. Rose trained me.
She and her group had moved over from JM Fields. Rose was a strict trainer whose expectations were high. So high that many of our doctors tried to woo Rose to clean their homes. But she was very particular about who she would work for. 51 years later I often look at my house and think "Rose would not approve". The women of her generation were tough and strong. I always admired them. No whining, no self-pity despite the hardships of their lives. They just got on with it.
Rose was one of them who taught me much more than just how to properly clean.
It is a small world. My father also grew up in South Troy. Rose told me "He always wanted to date me but I was not interested".
Her work ethics were impeccable. She showed up every day on time; with her hair done and her makeup artfully applied.
I shall always remember her fondly.
My condolences to her family.

I was very fortunate to stay in touch with Rose through the years. She was so proud of her years at Bellevue. She also had very dedicated, loving sons who will continue her legacy. Rest In Peace Rose, you so deserve it
