Obituary of Karen Blanchard Delduce
KAREN BLANCHARD DELDUCE
LATHAM - Karen Blanchard Delduce, 73 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Angelo J. "Butch" Delduce, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Ryan) Blanchard.
Karen graduated from Siena College and went on to work for New York State and as a private practice paralegal.
She was a former parishioner of St. Ambrose Church in Latham.
Karen will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved her. She had an undeniable energy and compassionate care for others that defined her life and legacy. She loved her canine companions and adored her family. She was an avid fan of classic movies and music and enjoyed collecting jewelry of all sorts.
In addition to her late parents and dear husband, Karen is predeceased by her brother Charles Blanchard.
Karen is survived by her sister Judith (Stephen) Marks of Defreetsville, sister-in-law Cathleen of Delmar, nieces and nephews Andrew M. (Anne) Blanchard of Delmar, Neil C. (Carrie) Blanchard of Latham, Thomas Eagan of Watervliet, Terry Eagan of Watervliet, Carrie Smith of Louisiana, as well as several cousins and great-nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, October 7th, 2022, 5:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham, NY 12110.
