Obituary of Carole L. Hanna

CAROLE L. HANNA Latham- Carole L. Hanna, 73 of Latham and formerly of Bellevue, Pa. passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital, in Albany. Born in Washington, PA. on November 7, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Fred S. and Alice (Wheaton) Bigler. Carole was married to Marion E. Hanna. The two shared a blessed union of love and happiness prior to his passing in 1987. She employed at one time for many years by the Ross Township Police Department as a School Crossing Guard. Carole was a devoted loyal member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star-North Hills Chapter No. 526. She was also a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Quail Fire Company in Ross Township. She is survived by her loving sons: Don (Laura) Hanna of Latham & Bill Hanna of Cape May, NJ. His 7 cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth, Gabrielle, Justin, Brandon, Lauren, Adrianna & Retta as well as 10 great grandchildren and her sister: Sally Gordon of Pennsylvania. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. A Memorial service and interment will take place in Pennsylvania at a later date.
