Hi Mrs Gallagher, Bill, John & the Gallagher Family, I was sadened to hear of the loss of your husband and father, Mr Gallagher. He was a really good guy and he will be missed by all those that knew him. In addition to being a great neighbor, I had the priveledge of working for him, at my first 'real' job at the NYS DM&NA, and I'm still working on facilities management and construction 27 years later. I will never forget the times I spent with you. After swapping for your wine i was embarrassed, but I'm glad that i did.. making dinner with your family was a lot of fun. I love the fact that you remodeled your home with your own architectural plans, someday i would also like to remodel a farm house and fill it with all of love that you filled yours with. First, to the Gallagher family I am extremely sorry for your loss. I think that one of the greatest blessings that we have in this life is our ability to touch the people we come in contact with. When we were kids we spent a lot of time with the Gallaghers. Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher were always watching after all the kids. Mr. Gallagher was just an incredibly positive individual who was always willing to listen and always willing to lend his advice. One day I was pretty much out of roads to take, and I finally checked out a road that Mr Gallagher said could change my life. I left for the Air Force the night after the Gallaghers through a going away party for me. That decision changed my life. When I returned from the Golf War he met the plane, and I saluted him out of respect for his rank and out of respect for the individual that he was.
