Obituary of Carole A. Pezze

CAROLE A. PEZZE

WATERVLIET - Carole A. Pezze, 80 of Watervliet, beloved wife of the late Francis "Frank" J. Pezze, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2023 at Gateway House of Peace in Ballston Spa, with her three loving daughters at her side.

Born January 31st 1943 in Schenectady, Carole was the daughter of the late Carl F. and Mildred (Jennings) Ille. Carole married Francis J. Pezze on February 16th 1963, cherishing 48 years of marriage before his passing.

Carole graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1961 and went to work as a receptionist at Terbush & Powell for a year and then Mohawk National Bank until 1964. She then started her family and was a stay-at-home mother until 1974 when she started working for Pega Risk Managers Inc of Guilderland for twenty years, retiring in 1994.

She was a member of Hope Club (formerly Gilda's Club) in Latham where she knit items such as sweaters for teddy bears, hats, and scarves to give to patients who were receiving cancer treatments.

Survivors of Carole include her daughters, Deborah Pezze of Cohoes, Sharon Pezze of Latham, and Lisa (Mario) Galvez of Ballston Lake. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Connor and Kevin Nichols, along with several nieces and nephews.

Carole's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, 10:30 am, at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. A calling hour will be held immediately preceding the mass from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the church.

Rite of Committal and interment will take place in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna immediately following the mass.
