I got to know Rozanne through working together at the Tax Department. She always had a smile on her face and brightened my day whenever I spoke with her. She was someone that I always relied upon and was one of the nicest individuals that I have ever met. Rozanne will be greatly missed.

Ken , I was saddened to hear of Rozanne’s passing. I remember her love of bowling as we would participate in the NYSDOT annual bowling tournament. I particularly enjoyed her catch phase of “garbonzo beans” when thing went wrong on the alley. She was a joy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Doug Spring

My parents, Yolanda andLucian Sclafani, were very close friends of Rozanne's parents, Margie and Charlie Culasso. I did not know Rozanne but knew her parents well, and because my Mom and Margie worked together at the Rehabilitation Center in Stamford, I saw Margie quite often. I am sure that Rozanne was just as kind and loving and had the strong faith in our Lord that her parents did, and I am sorry for your loss. I will pray for you and will keep Rozanne in my prayers as I do her parents.

I worked with Rozanne at the Tax Department for the past 10 years. She always greeted me with a smile and an optimistic approach. I always looked forward to talking to her, because even if she was just helping me get my call to the right person during the pandemic, we'd always find something to laugh about. She would often ask about my kids, and she truly cared how they were doing. They say we sometimes spend more of our day with our work colleagues than even our family, and that they are the ones who truly impact our day. Anytime I saw or talked to Rozeanne she brightened my day and she often turned a bad day around for me.
On top of that, she was devoted to her work and I could always count on her to go the extra mile to make sure things were handled quickly and efficiently.
I'll miss her and I'm so very lucky to have had the opportunity to have her as a part of my life.

Ken, family and friends of Rozanne, while we were attending St. Ambrose Church in Latham, we had the honor of knowing both Rozanne and Ken. We will always remember Rozanne's courage, strength, dignity and never ending faith while battling colon cancer. She was always smiling and laughing and she never had a negative thing to say about anyone. She is a true inspiration to all of us and she will be missed.
