Obituary of Eileen A. Kennon
COBLESKILL – Eileen A. Kennon, 75 of Cobleskill, NY was called home to God on Friday, October 13th, 2023.
Born on May 15th, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Adele (McNamara) Kennon.
Eileen was a prolific reader and history buff. Her greatest love in life was the Catholic Church and she was a prayer warrior for the salvation of souls and for the unborn. She was always there to help a loved one in need and her wit and sense of humor brightened many a day. She was a loving sister and a devoted aunt who cared for many of her nieces and nephews when they were young. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Eileen is survived by her siblings, Gail Kennon, Joan Jenkins, Thomas (Sandy) Kennon, Kathryn (Sumner) Watson, Timothy (Kathleen) Kennon and Matthew (Nancy) Kennon; her nieces and nephews, Gregory, Andrew and Benjamin Zavadoski; Barnabas, Joshua and Nathaniel Jenkins; Shane, Cameron, Victoria, Fiona and Quinn Kennon; Brigid (Moon), Gilberte, Pierre, Michael, Michelle and Mary Magdalena Watson; Caroline, Jack, Aidan, Nora, Rory, Michou, and Declan Kennon; Katie and Maggie Kennon.
Requiem Mass and Rite of Committal will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 11:30 AM, at the chapel of St. Joseph's Novitiate, 1275 Heart's Content Road, Round Top, NY 12473. Rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM preceding the Mass.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph's Novitiate, P.O. Box 205, Round Top, New York 12473; or the Immaculate Heart Seminary, P.O. Box 56, Round Top, NY 12473.
