I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my childhood friend. We went to school together and later worked together for a short time prior to his enlisting in the service. Bob was one of the nicest people I have ever known, May you Rest in Peace my old friend.

I spent some time with Bob a few years ago. I found him to be quite a nice guy and a real character. A great guy. He took me to a seafood restaurant and insisted on paying for it. He took me to his place and gave me a large bag of tomatoes. We went to a Trappers Convention in Utica where he sleep in a sleeping bag on the ground. I stayed in a local hotel - couldn't get him to stay. I offered to pay the bill. Nope! He was a great host. I liked Bob. A great guy. Bill

I am sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Bob was a valued member of the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers while I was President who took over the March Seminar until Covid put it on hiatus. Bob and I went to many Catskill Mountain Beekeeper and Bennington Beekeeper meetings prior to COVID and had many discussions on beekeeping during those trips. I always enjoyed hearing his perspective on beekeeping and on life in general. He always looked forward to Swarm Season and capturing swarms and putting them in his tree hives. To Rob, Erin and Christina we fondly remember Bob and you all. The times at school where our kids were classmates only make me think of the good times. I first met Bob in the Men's Association in the old gym. That was before time I think. The las time at Latham K of C where we both were recognized for 50 years. In between we each other often at church or as he walked past the house. The school events, the scouts, all the sacraments you guys received. Terry and I were there for Bonnies wake and regret we will be out of town for Dad's. Know that he holds a special place in our heart as well as you do. With affection.
