Obituary of Michael Kevin Hanrahan

MICHAEL K. HANRAHAN

LATHAM - Michael Kevin Hanrahan, 77 of Latham, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Albany Medical Center with family at his side.

Born in Albany, NY, on August 25, 1946 he was the son of the late Cornelius and Frances (Bucci) Hanrahan. Michael attended St. Brigid's Elementary School in Watervliet, was a 1964 graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy, and a 1968 graduate of Siena College in Loudonville. Upon graduating he served honorably in the US Army Military Police Corp from 1968 to 1969 during the Vietnam War. Michael dedicated his professional career to working thirty years for the New York State Department of Social Services.

Michael is survived by his four brothers: J. Dennis (Marykay), his best friend Brian, John, and James (Marilyn). Also survived by several nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by Emma and Connor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 13th, 2023, 10:30 AM at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd., Latham.
