Obituary of Rosalie Donofrio

ROSALIE DONOFRIO

Latham- Rosalie Donofrio, 89 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Arthur F. Donofrio, passed away on February 11th, 2024 in the comfort of her home.

Born in New York City on October 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Angelina (Nardi) Furgiuele.

Rosalie was employed as a secretary with N.Y. Telephone in Albany, retiring in 1989 after almost 30 years of dedicated service. Following her retirement she worked for 13 years as an aide in the special education department for the North Colonie School District where she had an innate ability to connect with the special needs students she worked with.

She is survived by her loving children: William "Will" Donofrio and Angela (Joseph) DiBartolo as well as her cherished grandchildren Alex and Amanda DiBartolo and her brother Lou (Dorothy) Furgiuele.

Memorial services for Rosalie will be celebrated on Thursday, February 15, 2024, 11:00 am at The Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.

Interment will take place alongside her loving husband Arthur in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
