While living next door to Pat and Charlie there were so many times we helped each other out. All time favorite memory was Charlie in his scuba gear repairing a hole in the bottom of our pool. After we moved Charlie would come over for coffee, working in my wood shop and conversation. You will be missed Charlie.

I will always remember Pat and Charlie as the most wonderful "adopted" next door neighbors! I loved waving at Pat through the kitchen window and I loved hear Charlie tell his many, many stories! My favorite memory of Charlie is when he saved us from an animal that was flying around our bedroom. It was too big to hit with a sneaker so, from under the covers we panicked and tried to figure out what to do. The first thing that came to mind was.....Go get Charlie!!! He came over right away with a paper bag and a net as I stayed safely under the convers. He looked for a little while and could not find the animal. I told him that he was not to leave until he found whatever was flying around the house. He looked through other rooms and eventually came downstairs with the bat in a paper bag which he was going to dispose of. I will always remember that night and how incredibly helpful he was!! Thank you Charlie for being such a wonderful "adopted" next door neighbor and for all of your stories! I find comfort in knowing that you are not in pain anymore and are reunited with Pat again. My thoughts and prayers are with Charlie's entire family....I love you all!
