This is Karen's cousin out in Batavia, NY, (Alberta's youngest) and I just want to extend my deepest sympathy to all of the family. I know Karen struggled with this terrible disease for quite awhile. I hope it helps in some small way to know that she is at peace. Again, I am so sorry.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Karen. After Mom died I could sense how happy she was in heaven and that helped me so much. I wanted her happy, not suffering. There is comfort in knowing the suffering is over and the happiness that is heaven.
My sympathy is with you.

Pam, Debbie and Sandy,
We have so many good memories of your family. You and your parents have been neighbors, babysitters, computer "fixers"(when computers were not so friendly, your dad made many trips to our home to straighten things out)but most importantly, friends. I also remember you guys visiting us on the beach in NJ when we were on vacation.
We will miss your mom's humor and her chats as she walked around the neighborhood and stopped to talk when we were outside working. I, along with others, will miss her presence on our block party committee. You are in our thoughts and prayers for the strength to move forward. You have been wonderful daughters and I know that Karen was proud of each of you. Hopefully you will stay in touch so we know how you are all doing. Let us know if there is anything we can help with.
