Obituary of Gloria P. DuBois

GLORIA P. DUBOIS Niskayuna-Gloria P. DuBois, 88, formerly of Latham and beloved wife of the late Arthur F. DuBois, passed away peacefully on Monday December 20, 2010 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Troy on May 27, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marjorie (Bibb) Phillips. Gloria was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and the Troy Business College. She was married to Arthur F. DuBois on November 4, 1944, and the two shared a blessed union of over 59 years prior to his passing on March 1, 2003. During the 1940's she worked in the office at Putnum Knitting Comp. in Cohoes. She later was employed at Siena College in Loudonville as a secretary in the library, a position she retired from after 12 years of service. Gloria is survived by her loving daughter Gail Flood of Vernon, CT and her cherished grandson Warren Flood of CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd. Latham by her nephew Rev. Francis DuBois. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place next to her husband in Memory's Garden in Colonie.
