JOHN J. FOX
Colonie- John J. Fox, 81 of Colonie, beloved husband for over 58 years to Teresa M. (Randio) Fox, entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, in Albany.
Born in Rensselaer on February 3, 1929, he was the son of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Driemiller) Fox. John attended St. John's School and was an altar boy for many years. He was also a 25 year member of the Rensselaer Fire Department and was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church for over 25 years.
He was employed with Albany Frosted Foods (Sysco Corporation) of Albany where he had been the comptroller, a position he retired from after many years of service.
In addition to his beloved wife Teresa, he is survived by his loving children: Mary Fox of Colonie, Geri (Bill Tompkins) Fox of Clifton Park, Teri Fox of Altamont, Barbara Fox of Rochester, Patti L. Mead of Westmere, Kathy M. Fox of Guilderland & Lisa (Kevin) M. Fox-Wise of Grafton his cherished grandchildren: Laura (Todd) Phelps-Smith, Shaun Fox, Aubrey (Tim) Hunter-Bresett, Thomas "Brad" Hunter, Brent J. Hunter, Stacy Mead, Stephanie (Tom) Mead-Stanton, Shannon Ross, Cassandra Fischer, Chris Fischer & Jonathan Morris; great grandchildren Connor & Ivy Smith, Kylee & Carson Bresett, Ashlynn Rose Fox & Emily Kay Travers. He is also survived by his 2 sisters: Dorothy June of Latham and Ann VanAlstyne of Rensselaer.
John is predeceased by his son, Vincent "Jimmy" Fox and his sister Ruth Edwards & Brother Robert Fox.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday February 3, 2001 from 4-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 4, at 9:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Francis DuBois officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 or to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211
Interment will take place in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
