Obituary of William J. Cassidy

WILLIAM J. CASSIDY Latham-William J. Cassidy, 28 of Latham, NY died Monday January 31, 2011. Beloved son of Christine Cassidy and the late William F. Cassidy, he was also the grandson of Mary Kirwan and the late James Kirwan. He is survived by his sister Meghan Cassidy and Thomas Haacke. His memory will also be cherished by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends. He attended Shaker High School and was a graduate of the New School and the New York Film Academy, both in New York City. A published poet, Bill resided in New York for over eight years prior to returning back to Latham. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 5, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday from 12-1 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be beside his father and grandfather in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Contributions to the American Cancer Society 260 Osborne Rd.
