MADELINE JULIA DOMBROSKY-LANGSTON
Latham-Madeline Julia Dombrosky-Langston, 92, of Latham joined her beloved husband Stephen "Rock" in heaven on February 8, 2011. Everyone who's been touched by Madeline has been touched by an angel. Her warmth, sincerity and kindness had no boundaries.
Although she worked at Tek Hughes, the Watervliet Arsenal and H & R Block during her career, Madeline's true life work revolved around the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was deeply devoted to her four children Stephen (Joyce) Dombrosky of Poestenkill, Judy (David) Brower of Alabama, Linda (Gary) Leventhal of Latham and Barbara Langston of Latham.
Special thanks to the caregivers who provided many hours of comfort and care to Madeline: Mary Elizabeth Simmons, June Busold and her beloved grandson, Jake Langston. Thanks also to her brother-in-law, Robert Raber, who devoted countless hours visiting Madeline over the past several years and to Nancy Hooks for her loyalty and support to Madeline.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday February 11, 2011 at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 15 Ridge Place, Latham.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
The family gratefully acknowledges the immeasurable acts of kindness and outpouring of love provided by the staff of the Eddy Village Green-House 24. Donations in memory of "Maddie" may be made to the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes 421 Columbia St. Cohoes, NY 12047.
