MARGARET L. BAUER
Latham- Margaret L. Bauer, 88 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Howard J. Bauer, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital, in Troy.
Born in Portland, Maine on September 9, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Florence (Gammon) Whalen.
Margaret was employed with the Norton Company in Watervliet as an Office Assistant, a position she retired from in 1973 after 20 years of service. She was also a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham.
Margaret is survived by her loving son: William T. (Patricia) Johnson of Latham; her cherished granddaughter: Deborah Dubuque of Clifton Park; Great Grandson Brian M. Dubuque of OK; Nephew & Niece: Michael & Maureen Whalen of Plattsburgh as well as other nieces and nephews and her Dear friend & caregiver: Cindy Just of Clifton Park.
She is predeceased by her Brothers, Donald & Thomas Whalen
Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday February 12, 2001 from 10:00-11:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am at St. Ambrose Church.
Interment will take place next to her husband Howard in Memory Gardens in Colonie.
