WARREN F. OST
Latham- Warren F. Ost, 55 of Latham, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday, March 11 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, in Albany after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Brooklyn on November 15, 1955, he was the son of the late Stanley B. and the late Florence M. (Clinton) Ost.
Warren, a Benjamin Franklin Scholar, was a graduate of Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He was employed as a Plant Controller at Saint-Gobain Abrasives Co. in Watervliet.
His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved family & friends. He was also very passionate about his career and worked up to the end of his life.
He will be remembered for being an inspiration to all those around him and bravely battled his illness while always maintaining a positive attitude.
Warren is survived by his devoted wife Rena of 22 years. Together, they proudly raised their cherished son Garrett. He is also survived by his loving sister Valerie Ost; sister in law & brother in law Helene & Kevin Murphy as well as aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be celebrated on Friday March 18, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Rev Nick Tebordo will officiate.
