ELWARDA P. TIMBERLIN
Latham- Elwarda P. Timberlin, 90 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Archie F.Timberlin, passed away Monday November 24, 2008 at Community Hospice at St. Mary's Hospital, in Troy. Her loving family was by her side at the time of her passing.
Born in Buskirk, NY on November 19, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Elward and Hulda (Baker) Pratt. She was married to Archie F. Timberland on September 2, 1939 and the two shared a blessed union of 59 years prior to his passing on February 6, 1999.
She was a Homemaker who tended to her family and their needs with the utmost care and dedication; they were also the center of her life.
She was a member of the Colonie Jehovah Witness congregation for over 50 years.
She is survived by her loving children: Carolyn A. (Paul) Moore of Latham, Albert F. (Carol) Timberlin of Vermont, John E. Timberlin of Watervliet, James E. Timberlin of Watervliet, Allen W. (Joella) Timberlin of Cohoes, many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her sister: Arlene (Harry) Karpiak of Cambridge, NY and brother: Charles (Nonnie) Eddy Jr. of Johnsonville, NY
Elwarda is predeceased by her brother Wells Eddy, Daughter-in-law Winifred (Fink) Timberlin, Sisters-in-law Louella Eddy & Wilma Eddy, and Brother-in-law, Ben English.
A celebration of Elwarda's life will be held Tuesday December 2 at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday December 1 from 4-7 P.M. at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
Interment will take place in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
