Obituary of Lois M. Eva

LOIS M. EVA Albany- Lois M. Eva, 87, a current resident of the McAuley Residence in Albany, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, in Albany. Born in Chicago IL on December 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence B. and Catherine (Groot) Eck. She was married to Richard A. Eva, and the two shared a blessed union prior to his passing in 1983. Lois was a loving and dedicated homemaker who tended to all of her families needs with the utmost of care. She is survived by her loving children: Susan (H. Richard) Koelling of Albany, Richard (Mary) A. Eva Jr. of Canton, MI, Lawrence P. Eva of Berrien Springs, MI and Catherine (James W. Jr.) Welsh of East Greenbush. 11 cherished grandchildren and 15 adored great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews She is predeceased by her Sisters: Shirley Ackenhusen & Carol Eichelberger. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday April 21 from 4:30 - 5:30 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 pm at the funeral home immediately following the gathering time. Pastor Trig Tomlinson will officiate.
