I had Dale Beach as a professor in two management courses and his book in a third 34 years ago. I am constantly referring to things I learned as a student of his. Unfortunately, my ex-wife threw out my signed copy of the book, but I remember how he had written in it that in the workplace, one was innocent until proven guilty, just as outside the workplace. That no longer holds true - not that he was wrong, but because it is circumvented. Also, he was adamant that panic was bad in business - now it's SOP. I was sad to learn he died, but I am glad he lived so long and was active through much of that.
