RICHARD J. STACK
Latham- Richard J. Stack, 81 of Latham, passed away in peace and comfort on Monday, June 20 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland.
Born and raised in New York, NY on October 4, 1929, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary (O'Connor) Stack. Educated in New York City, he received a Bachelors of Business Administration from Pace University. Richard proudly served in the Navy from 1952 to 1954 and was a member of AARP.
Richard was employed as a Financial Analyst with the IBM Corporation in White Plains, a position he retired after 30 plus years of service.
He is survived by his children: Lisa James of NJ, Terence R. Stack of Rye, NY & Keith Stack of Kinderhook. 8 cherished grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his wife Barbara Stack of NJ as well as his sister: Sheila Connor also of NJ and several cousins in the US and Ireland.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday June 23 from 4-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday June 24 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association
Interment will take place in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.
