Obituary of John "Murph" D. Daniele

JOHN "MURPH" D. DANIELE Latham- John "Murph" Daniele, 92 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16 at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy. Born in Troy on June 14, 1919, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Jenny Daniele. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the US Army under General Patton in Normandy from 1941-1945. He was married to the former Ruth E. Fulson who passed away on April 3, 1990. Murph was a devoted & dedicated Belt Maker with Troy Belting & Supply Company in Watervliet, retiring in 1981 after 48 years of service. He is survived by his loving children: Barbara, John, Gary, Judy, & Cheryl Ashcroft and Vincent Daniele; 16 cherished grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, several nieces & nephews and his family at Troy Belting & Supply Comp. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday July 19 from 4-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 20 at 10:00 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Rev.
